MusicTrails helps listeners freely explore new music by visually navigating a web of connected artists. This is an app for the
“lazy minus one user”: the person who doesn’t want to labor over setting up every song that plays, but doesn’t want to be left out of the loop as they are with many black-box recommendation services.

There are three ways to let the system wander new music on its own: change the center artist, change the number of connected artists to the center artist, or change the number of levels out that the artist web wanders (think levels on a tree of nodes). The more involved user can also set artist preferences to change how often certain music plays, or they can manually just play random songs from artists.
