Let There Be Cake! (judgment day)

Friday, March 5, 2010

Yesterday was a fantastic day for #mobdev. Our esteemed panel of five judges evaluated the six student projects and chose a winner. If you recall, the contest was a 10-day sprint to create a compelling product prototype that exploited the Echo Nest API. Teams had to pitch a business model, great design, and reasonable technical depth through a demo. Substance, style, and a convincing way to make money.

I am pleased to report that every team did a fantastic job. The entire panel was very, very impressed at the amount of stuff our students were able to get done in such a brief amount of time. The next post (tomorrow probably) will be about the individual projects and the winning team. I just wanted to give you a taste of the day.
